Horsin' Around

We went out to the Duncan's ranch and the girls got to braid the horses hair, paint their hind quarters, and their hoofs too.  After painting them, Sister Duncan brought out the glitter and let the girls sprinkle glitter on the paint.  Too much fun!

After being walked around the corral for a bit, Mikayla got to lead her horse on her own.  She was over the moon excited and can't wait to do it again!

Dr. Seuss Read-A-Thon Day!

I got to go help read to several classes for Dr. Seuss Read Across America Day and this is a selfie with Mikayla's class.  They basically had donuts, read books, and played games ALL day!  Sounds like fun to me!

 Lookin' cute for school!

Kara's new favorite thing is to swing like a monkey and make sounds like one too!

They LOVE having their nails painted pretty!

Mikayla got to use chalk to dye her hair, we'll hope this will suffice and she won't feel the need to ever dye her hair!

Twinsies at BodyPump without planning it.

We got hit with an unfortunate round of head lice and after shampooing them all and spending 6 hours combing them out, we applied coconut oil to their hair to suffocate any remaining lice.  Yuck, yuck, yuck, no fun AT ALL!!

Play date with neighbor girls calls for bananas smothered in peanut butter and chocolate chips.

After playing basketball with Gus for 3 hours out front, this is how Megan looked!  I couldn't believe it.  One happy, dirty kid!

School Sock Hop

Kendra won the costume contest for kids!  Everytime the Superintendent placed his hand above her head for applause, she should holler and shake her hips making everyone scream louder for her!  Too funny!

I love our principal, Tracey Allen!  She has been the best thing to happen to our school in so many years.  I was so happy to have her come out and support our PTA activity as well.

On the fly, I ended up leading the kids in the hand jive and got them up and dancing around the room.

I was dying over this cuteness!!

Um yeah, I may have won the adult hula hoop contest.  Had no idea I could do that--in heels even! lol

We had such a fun family night and can't wait for next year!

 Love this BFF of mine!
