Kendra turned 3 and wanted nothing but a Dora party! So we made a Dora cake and a Boots cake.
We had a build-your-own taco courtesy of Tico.
We played Dora Bingo.
Then the kids went to find the cake, but in its place was a note saying Swiper had stolen the cake and they needed to find it! So they got Map out of Backpack and went to the first stop which was the Grumpy Old Troll's Tunnel. The "troll" told a riddle they had to solve before crawling through the tunnel. On to the next stop which was Balloon Valley where they had to pop the balloons to find the explorer stars.
Kendra with her map. After finding the stars, they went to Present Palace where the cake was waiting for them to cut into later.
Kendra opened her presents and loved getting puzzles, candy, a rice bucket to play in, books, stuffed animals, a movie, and a Dora backpack.
Kendra with her cake! And hour before her party she was swatting balloons and ran into a wall, splitting her forehead open! No stitches needed as Nurse Dad ran to work to get bandages and glue.
