When I was in the hospital with Kendra last month, Magaw helped Megan break her pacifier habit. She only used it to fall asleep and then we'd take it out of her mouth at night, but at 2 1/2, it's time to ditch the habit. And she did it. Cold turkey. So, we had a paci party for her! The girls made their own crowns, they made a cake and frosted it. Then came the fun part: we gave the girls two forks and said, "Dig in!" They couldn't believe it! A whole cake to devour and not have to cut into pieces! They made quite a mess and ate more cake than we thought possible, but it was worth it for our celebration! Megan has now been paci-free for one month and has not mentioned it or asked about one since.
