We had so much fun with Abbie and Emily and Grandma and Grandpa D. Mikayla had her birthday party and baptism and then the next day we went to Chico to go disc golfing. The girls loved it and were trying really hard to keep track of their scores. They both thought it was more fun than regular golfing!
Then we went swimming in a neighbor's pool.
There was a whole lot of sychronized swimming, diving, and team racing.
We came back to Gridley and went to Black Bear Diner for dinner. The next day we went to the lake to swim after Grandma and Grandpa and Daddy went golfing. To relax that night, I soaked all their feet, scrubbed them down with a sugar scrub, clipped all their nails, and painted all their finger and toenails!
It seemed like a good idea, but after doing 100 nails I wasn't so sure anymore! lol
The girls built sandcastles with motes and streams at the lake.
There was a rule that if you splashed grandpa with water he would throw you in the lake.
She was warned!
The girls put on a very entertaining fashion show for us after rummaging through my closet and high heels and the dress-up box.
Abbie came out in the same outfit several times, just changed her shoes.
