Happy Birthday Kendra!

Little Kendra turned 1. She was very interested in opening presents. She took her time pulling the paper off and ripping it.
Then she'd climb on top of it and survey what to do next. It was pretty funny!
But after some help from a 3 yr old who couldn't keep her hands off, the dragon walker/ride-on bike emerged from the packaging.
Later that day we had a little birthday party for her. I made the girls appliqued shirts with their initials on them and made Kendra a little tutu.
Trying to get a good picture of them was harder work than making the shirts!
The little tip-toe stepper learning to walk.
Magaw also gave Kendra this cute zebra, perfect for her party!
We had zebra cake with marbled white and chocolate cake inside, zebra bowls, black and white cookies, fun theme!
Lyra, Charlie, Kendra, and Kate. Her little friends from church came over and had fun playing with toys and eating food.
She wasted no time grabbing her piece of cake and shoving it in!
There was nothing ladylike or dainty about how she ate that cake! She shoved it in with both hands and when it was gone...
she licked the bowl clean! It was hilarious!
She LOVED her cake and was mad that we wouldn't give her more! So funny! Happy Birthday to our sweet, adorable, happy little Kendra!

So cute! I have to ask you about the walker toy thing you got for her... what is it exactly? Ben has started to take 5-6 steps at a time, but I think something like that really might help him to feel more steady while he's walking. Is time not flying so fast for you, too? I can't believe how fast they grow!

Oh my gosh! That little face is adorable! And the party looks so fun, as always. I can't believe she is already one!
