We drove down to SoCal and stayed the first night with my friend Nikki from college. She and her husband have the most adorable 2 wk old baby boy and it was so fun to see her and her new baby. Our friend Greg (from freshman year at BYU), lives near Nikki and came over for dinner with his wife and 2 kids. Getting together with everyone made it hard to believe that 10 yrs. have flown by since we went to BYU together! (In the picture is a 2 wk Andrew, 6 month Kendra, and 12 month Will).
Kendra loved all the characters! She'd smile really big when she saw them and try to suck on their noses. Loved it!
The new parade at CA Adventure was a blast! They had all the characters from our favorite Pixar movies and included some acrobatic acts in the parade. Great music, bubbles flying everywhere, stilt-walkers, so much fun!
I held Mikayla so she could see the parade above the adults...
...which meant Trent had Kendra and Megan to hold. Needless to say, doing Disney with 3 kids by ourselves was a workout!!
The girls were very excited to see Tinkerbell and Silvermist at Pixie Hollow, a new addition to Disneyland.
Megan loved the Pooh ride and thus we had to wait in line to see Pooh and Tigger afterward. (we rode the dang ride 5 times! That's what happens when there are NO lines! It was wonderful).

We weren't sure how we would do Disney by ourselves and didn't know what stroller to bring to make it easy on ourselves. My mom happened to go to a thrift store and picked up this awesome sit 'n stand! All 3 rode on there and sometimes we strapped baby in the front and the other two shared the back.
Can't imagine our trip without it!!
Daddy doesn't like to spin, so Mom went on all the spinny rides--many times. Ah, gotta love the teacups!
And Dumbo goes around in a circle as well, so Mom rode on that one too.
Meeting the Mouse! Kendra was too enthralled with his face to smile for the camera! We had to wipe her slobber off his nose before leaving!
After a long, fun-filled day at the park, we headed back to the hotel for baths and dinner. Our special Disney dinner: a bucket of Cold Stone ice cream! Hey, it's Disneyland! The girls thought we were crazy for serving ice cream for dinner, but they honestly did have Quizno's for lunch and fruit during the day, I'm not THAT bad of a mother! Ah, good times and memories. They were SO tired when their heads hit the pillows and woke up bright and early ready for day 2.
